Education
I already have an Associate's Degree from State College of Florida in my hometown of Sarasota, Fl. I will be finishing my Bachelor's Degree at Florida Gulf Coast University in the fall in Elementary Education and plan on taking a subject area test to be qualified to teach Secondary English/ Writing.
Experience
I would love to be a tutor to continue the experience that I have had already in a teacher/mentor position. I have worked as a part-time Spanish teacher for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten at a private Christian school at home. I have passed my pre-teacher's exam (the GKT) and have been accepted into the Elementary Education program at FGCU. I have taken all of my Intro to Education courses and received all A's regarding those classes. On a personal note, I was a National Thespian Honor Society member in High School and as such graduated High School with Honors. I have a passion for English, Theater and Writing as well as a love for children in general.
